The Fergus Force have made the decision to part ways with Head Coach Andrew Whalen.
With the team winless in 12 starts, despite the better effort in an 8-4 loss to the New Tecumseth Civics last Thursday, it was decided a change in direction was necessary.
In the interim, team owner Marshall Uretsky, with many years of playing and coaching experience, including internationally, will be behind the bench, but only while the team registers with the league the new staff consisting of Roger Brown from Kitchener in the Head Coach position, and promoting team statistician Howard Parry, a resident of Fergus and long time hockey man, to the position of Assistant Coach.
We thank Andrew for his efforts on and off the ice over the last several months, and wish him the best of luck moving forward in his hockey career.
The Force take on the Seguin Huskies on Tuesday, November 7 at 8pm at the Plex.
