Force Sign Promising Forward

The Force are pleased to announce the signing of 17 year old Kain Harrietha from Waterdown, ON. The 5’8″, 165 pound Forward has been playing high school hockey, most recently with the Blythe Academy, and showed some terrific skill at practice last week. Kain will be in the lineup this Sunday against the South Muskoka Shield.

The Fergus Force have made the decision to part ways with Head Coach Andrew Whalen. With the team winless in 12 starts, despite the better effort in an 8-4 loss to the New Tecumseth Civics last Thursday, it was decided a change in direction was necessary. Big weekend coming up and another addition to the roster!

The Force have another busy weekend coming up, with 3 games in 4 days, starting tonight with a rematch against the New Tecumseth Civics in Alliston. The Force have acquired forward Zach Wyder from the Toronto Predators. The 21 year old British Columbia native stands 6’1″ and weighs 200 pounds. Zach will arrive in Fergus today, meet the team for practice tomorrow, and will be in the lineup for Thursday’s game with the Rattlers. Welcome Zach!
